I started my apprenticeship at High Beech Riding School in September 2019.  From the moment I started all the staff and the clients made me feel so welcome and helped me to settle in quickly.  Every horse at the Riding School is one of a kind and I fell in love with each and every one of them.  Some of the clients, especially the children, ask which horse is my favourite but it is just impossible to pick just one.  They all have their own personalities and I have fond memories with them all, such as my first time jumping on Honey or first time hacking in the forest on Thika, every one of them has taught me something.  I am pictured with young Jack who is just through and through the sweetest of ponies you could ever wish for. Through my apprenticeship I have gained my Level 2 NVQ in horse care and riding which gave me the opportunity to start Instructing and now I am studying to achieve my BHS stages working towards becoming a fully qualified coach.  I am currently a Trainee Instructor which I am enjoying so much and have achieved the BHS Ride Safe Certificate as well which has enabled me to escort hacks, something I absolutely love to do!   One of the best parts of working here is sharing the joy of horses and riding with the customers, especially those who are just starting to learn to ride.  I can't think of a better place to work.
