I came to High Beech Riding School after studying animal management for 2 years at Writtle College.  Whilst I was studying I volunteered at a stables in order to gain some hands on experience in my spare time not knowing anything about horses.  I quickly learned to love our equine friends and jumped at the chance to apply for an apprenticeship position at High Beech to qualify in Horse Management and Care.   I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at HBRS and was thrilled to be offered a full time job here now I am qualified.  All the team at High Beech are a pleasure to work with.  Despite my course not including a ridden section I was coached by the Instructors and now hold my BHS Ride Safe Certificate which enables me to Escort the Forest Hacks.   Riding in the forest is always a pleasure and our clients are great company.  It is always a joy to catch up with our regular riders and wonderful to meet new people that come along wanting to take part in our favourite hobby.  Whether beginners looking to learn and take regular lessons, or experienced riders wanting to hack or even clients wanting to simply  enjoy a one off experience on a led walkout in the forest, I love to share my knowledge and see their enjoyment. My favourite pony has got to be Anjou who I am pictured here with.  Having had many lessons and rides on her we've got to know one another quiet well.  She can be very cheeky but that is a big part of what makes her so much fun to ride.
