We regularly accept work experience students from local schools and colleges and would be happy to discuss equestrian opportunities here at our Riding School. All work experience students and apprentices will complete our induction training to ensure they are fully compliant with our on site Health & Safety practices and Risk Assessments. They will be placed under the supervision of one of our qualified members of staff and will work as part of our Team dealing with both horses and clients so we look for a high calibre of student who is able to follow instruction, quick to learn and confident dealing with people of all ages.
Apprenticeship participation is something that HBRS has taken part in for several years. We have seen several successful students through the completion of all levels of NVQ's to go on to equestrian careers both here and in other areas of the industry, also to study and complete BHS examinations and embrace promotions from grooms to qualified instructors.
Writtle College work closely with HBRS and our qualified team to ensure that our Students complete all their training and course work to an exceptional level. Visits and Training at the College is incorporated into their schedule but nearly all studies are completed at HBRS, with invaluable on hand experience within a working environment.
